Cedar Ridge Elementary School, Union’s 10th elementary school, serves more than 550 students from pre-kindergarten through fifth grade. Cedar Ridge opened in August of 1995 and was named after the area in which the school was built. The school is located in the southern portion of the district and lies within the Tulsa city limits.

Cedar Ridge is a boundary school which neighbors with Broken Arrow, Bixby and Jenks.  Housing additions which serve Cedar Ridge include Cedar Ridge Park, Cedar Ridge Heights, Cedar Ridge North, Cedar Ridge Village, Millicent Crossing, Saddle Ridge, Shadow Ridge, South Towne Square, Woodbine, and Woodland Glen.

Cedar Ridge has been recognized by the National PTA Council with the Parental Involvement School of Excellence award.  This award is given because of the number of hours Cedar Ridge parents and grandparents volunteer and the quality of services they provide to the school.

Families who were enrolled in the Extended Day Program (EDP) during the 2024-2025 school year may enroll for the program for the coming year, starting Monday, June 16 Enrollment will open for everyone starting Tuesday, June 17.

Union administrators

Union administrators have been participating in an all-day retreat today at POSTOAK Lodge & Retreat, 5323 W 31st St N, as they prepare for a new year. Administrators took time out before lunch to pose for a group picture.

Union Public Schools Board of Education: Steve Nguyen - Zone 5; Dr. Chris McNeil - Zone 2; Heather McAdams - Zone 3; Stacey Roemerman - Zone 4 ; Joey Reyes - Zone 1; and Superintendent Dr. John Federline.

A brief summary of the June 9 Board of Education meeting has been posted which includes information on work at the Union 6th/7th Grade Centers, rate increases for EDP and administrative appointments.

Now is the time to enroll in Union’s pre-kindergarten program for the fall and the 2025-26 school year. This FREE program is available to all students living in the district. Union provides an all-day experience at no charge to families and pre-kindergarten is available at every elementary school site.

Early Childhood

Union provides a full-day, year-round program for eligible 3-year-olds, 4-year-olds and kindergarteners. Students learn language, fine arts, problem-solving and more.
